The travel program at Upper Perk Youth Baseball Association (UPYBA) is designed to provide a flexible year-round platform for players nine to twelve years of age to develop their baseball skills in a competitive environment as an enhancement to their participation in the UPYBA community league. The goal is to prepare each player in the program with the fundamentals for success at the next level of play and in strategic alignment with the proficiency levels expected by the Upper Perkiomen High School baseball program.
From Quick Ball to Majors, each player develops at a different pace. UPYBA recognizes this and the need to foster the varying stages of player growth. To this end, the UPYBA travel program provides performance-based opportunity for each player to move among different levels of competition in his/her years of participation as well as creating the opportunity for off-season training.
The UPYBA travel program runs on an annual season and fiscal cycle beginning on April 1. Tryouts for the program will be conducted for each age level (8U through 12U) in the April/May timeframe for players interested in participating in summer, fall, and spring travel leagues, as well as organized winter workouts. Players interested in any component of the UPYBA travel program must register for travel in the Spring and must participate in spring tryouts.

- Official electronic scoreboard operator and scorekeeper for each game (including pitcher’s tournament tracking)

- Three warm-up/practice fields
- Two batting tunnels with attached soft toss cages, supplemental soft toss nets

- Plenty of parking-complex includes playground and basketball court
- Fully stocked snack stand with fresh food options
